About Community Guides

The Community Guide Service helps families and individuals use self-direction (PDS) successfully. This support is all about the practical, day-to-day work of making life at home run smoothly.

A Community Guide can:

● Help you recruit, hire, train, and manage caregivers

● Support you in building and keeping a reliable care team

● Assist with finding a roommate or exploring shared living options

● Guide you through the process of managing your Participant Directed Services (PDS) responsibilities.
